    Job Description
    Verde Valley School seeks a skilled and enthusiastic learning support teacher to provide executive functioning skills support to students enrolled in our Learning Support Program.  Academic classes at Verde Valley School are writing-intensive and emphasize discussion, research, critical thinking and analysis.  The Learning Support class provides scaffolding for core academic classes in the following areas: task initiation, personal organization, time management, breaking down assignments, and communication with teachers.  
     
    Preferred Qualifications
    • High school teaching experience - Special Education preferred
    • Experience teaching executive functioning skills, time management and organizational skills to high school or college students
    • Experience with Google Suite, Google Classroom, and assistive technologies
